The KVM extender solution that grows for future needs.
Wizard Extenders not only make it easy to place CPUs or KVM switches up to 200 metres from workstations, they’re also expandable. If an installation is small, use one or two Wizard Extender Kits. Each kit comes with a transmitter module for local CPU connections and a receiver module for remote workstation (keyboard, monitor, and mouse) connections. And when small installations grow into bigger ones, up to 16 of the local or remote modules can be installed in the optional 2U chassis (ACU5000A) for mounting in any standard 19" cabinet or rack. A single power module (PS5000-R2) supplies power to up to four remote modules inside the chassis. (NOTE: Local modules don’t require a power supply.) Affordability and compatibility. This capable KVM extender uses inexpensive CATx cable—such as the UTP cable that may already be installed in a building—and works with all IBM PCs and compatibles. The extender supports Alpha, SGI, and RS/6000™ computers, plus Microsoft® IntelliMouse®, IntelliMouse Explorer, and other common wheel mice. The extender also has connections for PS/2 keyboards and mice. Dual Access The extender kits with dual access can be controlled from the remote workstation as well as locally on the transmitter end. Wizard Dual /Quad Video Unit The Dual or Quad Video local unit provides PS/2 K/M extension as well as as Dual or Quad Video channels! It can be either set to split a single input VGA signal to be extended to 2 or 4 remote locations or to extend two or four separate video signals along with the K/M signals. (Each Video signal requires a single 4-pair UTP) (call BB Tech Support for rackmounting option) Wizard Serial and Audio Kit The Serial Audio Extender support RS-232 up to 57,6 kBit and bi-directional stereo audio extension on top of PS/2-KVM signals over just a single Cat 5/5e/6 cable.
